What are the best materials for external signs?
For simple print to shaped panel style sign we would recommend dibond (dibond is an aluminium panel) for external use. For the low cost option you can choose print to correx, but this solution is suited to more temporary external signage, such as estate agency For Sale boards. Acrylic panels are also popular as office signs, especially for smaller signage near to entrance doors for example. External lightbox signage is hugely popular especially in the retail industry and individual illuminated letters are a unique way for any business to brand its premises.
What are signs outside shops called?
Pavement signs, A Boards and Sandwich Board. There are also Forecourt Signs, popular for petrol stations, garages and car sale forecourts. Our pavement signs start from as little as £45 and include simple chalk board A signs, swinger signs with plastic bases and forecourt signs with heavy weight concrete bases. Pavement signs can either come with a printed dibond sign panel or you insert a printed poster within a frame, which tend not to weather as well as dibond panels, but the posters are easy enough to replace when needed.
