Siemens Transform 2026
With Transform 2026 marking our third time back at Manchester Central to help Siemens materialise their biggest exhibition event, we thought it only proper that we shared an insight into the event and our partnership.
Background to our partnership with Siemens:
Way back when in 2013, when John and Jenny took over GH Display from John’s dad, the business already had a good relationship with Dresser-rand, which was an invaluable client at the time. The following year, Siemens acquired Dresser-rand and although that meant we lost our contract, fast forward to 2018, we had the opportunity to tender for the wider Siemens exhibition stand projects.
Needless to say, it was a very competitive process. Having submitted an initial proposal and completed a presentation, we were selected as a preferred exhibition stand partner to Siemens and joined their approved suppliers list early 2019.
The very first job we did for them was Digital Talks in June that same year at the ACC in Liverpool, which consisted of their digital industries division. It was an exciting project to be a part of and was almost like the ‘transform’ before transform.
Working on Transform then and now:
The event name is fitting, not only due to the innovative work that is showcased, but in how the space at Manchester Central is completely transformed too. Having now worked on the two-day event multiple times, we feel that we have got the delivery down to a fine art. And as a result, we returned this year as main contractors for the biggest and best Transform yet.
On the installation itself, here’s a rundown of what’s been done over the years:
The original stations built for Digital Talks in 2019 were refurbished for Transform 2022. These were then redesigned and remade for the 2024 event, and then reused for 2026, which has meant each primary stand piece for Siemens has been recycled and been given a minimum 2-year life span.
But it doesn’t stop there-
All dialogue stations were stored and reused for the event and the units used are all repurposed for the different exhibition stands Siemens need building in-between the events. We also store and reuse their graphics wherever we can, further ensuring that the Siemens events we deliver are sustainable.
Overall, Siemens were very happy with how the 2026 event was executed and we are excited about the next project in this fantastic partnership.
