These prestigious awards recognise and reward a cross section of businesses and the vital role this sector plays in the economic success of the region. After completing an interview with the judging panel, GH Display Ltd were selected as a finalist for the Small Business of the Year category.
More than 20 companies have been shortlisted for a share of the 13 categories that make up this year’s annual celebration of excellence in enterprise. They will be competing for the prestigious awards celebrating a variety of key features of business life from innovation and sustainability to customer service and commitment to staff.
GH Display Ltd is a family run business with a rich history of UK manufacturing and service excellence that goes back over 45 years. The pandemic presented the most challenging business environment for many businesses in general and the event industry in particular. GH Display Ltd is a specialist in the design, build and installation of displays and exhibition stands at events, and like many in the event industry, feared that the pandemic would close the doors for good. Instead though, the dynamic business rose to the challenge and through grit and entrepreneurial flare was able to pivot the business to not only survive, but continue its growth trajectory of 30% year on year.
The awards ceremony and gala dinner will take place on 23rd November 2023, at the Holiday Inn West Thorpe Wood, Peterborough.
