Innovation Zone LGA Annual Conference & Exhibition
GH Display was proud to lead the design, build and delivery of the Innovation Zone at the 2025 Local Government Association (LGA) Annual Conference, the largest gathering in the UK’s local government calendar and one of the most prominent political conferences of the year.
Held at the ACC Liverpool, this year’s conference welcomed over 1,500 delegates, including high-profile speakers from both central and local government. The Innovation Zone stood out as a central hub for discussion, networking, and inspiration, brought to life through GH Display’s smart, sustainable exhibition design.
The Innovation Zone was conceived and built with sustainability at its core. GH Display collaborated closely with the brilliant LGA team and sponsor Newton to deliver an engaging, environmentally responsible exhibition space without compromise on visual impact or visitor experience.
Key sustainable features included:

Fully modular structure using reusable hire stock, customised to LGA’s unique needs

Iconic entrance archway made from recyclable cardboard with a recycled core

Low-waste installation using resource-efficient processes and transported using Biofuel

Reusable graphics, produced using silicon edge tension systems

Designed to host up to 250 attendees at any one time within a 236m² footprint, the Innovation Zone was a constantly buzzing destination throughout the three-day event.
