Hybrid exhibition stand

Leading manufacturer, Shoplight are champions of producing wholly sustainable retail lighting solutions. They were booked to exhibit in a 4m x 6m space at the VM & Display Show, due to be held at London’s Business Design Centre. They not only needed a high quality and striking exhibition stand, it was of equal importance that their exhibition stand was as sustainable as possible.
The chosen stand design had two open sides and was a combination of existing and recycled hire exhibition stock alongside bespoke pieces, created with years of exhibition use built-in to their reconfigurable design and high quality construction. Bespoke lighting pelmets were created to house Shoplight’s own range of exceptional sustainable lighting and a large custom-made circular display plinth took centre stage, showing the eco-friendly lighting components alongside live plants to help highlight the brands core values and drive to sustainable manufacturing.
The company brand colours were used throughout the stand, on butresses, pelmets and flooring. A bespoke LED sign helped draw visitors to the stand and a small meeting space with wall mounted TVs encouraged engagement.
The hybrid exhibition stand solution had sustainability at the core of its design. All walling, flooring, counters, furniture and AV equipment were part of the vast GH Display hired exhibition stand range. All manufactured stand components are built by our talented team using energy from our own solar panels and are refurbished and reused for each event. The stand pelmets, buttresses, LED sign and circular display plinth were all custom made components, designed and built for Shoplight, with the intention to refurbish and reuse them for future events. This way of creating an exhibition stand gave Shoplight options for customisation, whilst recycling hire stock and therefore reducing the amount of carbon emissions generated. All the graphics on the walls were produced on 100% recycled material. All lighting on the stand was supplied by Shoplight.
