MED-EL are a global player in the medical technology industry, specialising in the development and manufacture of hearing implants and devices. GH Display were thrilled to be selected as their preferred UK exhibition stand builder, tasked with designing and building them multiple custom exhibition stands to suit a variety of stand sizes and configurations. High-up on their exhibition stand design brief was a desire to showcase their innovative products and to ensure the look and feel of their stand space was bright, clinical and welcoming. Their stand spaces varied from 3m x 3m up to 6.5m x 3m and it was therefore imperative that their exhibition stand components could be reconfigured for reuse in a variety of sizes and layouts. As well as displaying their product range, MED-EL also required practical storage, AV equipment to stream video content and comfortable meeting spaces to provide networking areas for visitors to the stand.
Also important for MED-EL was the need for their exhibiting activities to reflect their ethical and sustainable approach to business. To this end, we designed their exhibition stand using solely hire exhibition stand components (which have been built by us to a high quality and will continue to be used, refurbished and reused for years to come) and combined these with solvent free paint finishes and graphics made from recycled and recyclable media. All the lighting on their stand was low energy LED lighting and all production and printing for their exhibition stand was done using renewable energy generated by our own solar panels. GH Display track our emissions when creating their projects and feed this back into MED-EL using a carbon tracking report, allowing MED-EL to monitor the level of carbon output that comes from their exhibiting activities. So far, we have installed three exhibition stands for MED-EL and have received this great feedback.
